Your tasks:

We are looking for a Backend Developer (f/m/d) with expertise in the field of Spring Boot and automated test design for our new team "Regulatory Reporting IT". As a highly regulated company, we have to provide data to the regulatory authorities in defined time windows. We are building a software for our business unit utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions. For the backend we will use the Spring Boot framework. You will support the project during all stages of development, including requirements analysis, conception, design, implementation, testing as well as go-live. You will help developing best practices for testability, maintainability and scalability to support an open team culture. Tasks such as documentation and designing solutions to meet regulations will also be a significant part of the job.

We work in an agile and growing team and coordinate in dailies, refinements and sprint reviews. You decide whether you work remotely from home (Germany) or in our office in Leipzig.

Your skills:

  • You completed an university degree or an apprenticeship.
  • You bring along expertise in one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL 
  • You are experienced in working with backend frameworks like Spring Boot
  • You have an understanding of testing frameworks like JUnit
  • Ideally you already worked in a cloud environment, GCP is preferred
  • You can communicate excellently in English and German.
