Are you a passionate backend developer with a knack for crafting scalable and efficient systems, using technologies like Java and Kotlin? Do you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy sharing knowledge?

In Schibsted Mobility we are on the journey of redefining mobility services across the Nordics, and we are looking for our next seasoned backend developer to join the ride.

LOCATION?

Join us in our Oslo with the flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days a week: your choice, your balance.

TECH STACK 🤓

• Main languages: Kotlin and Java
• Tests: Groovy
• Databases: PostgreSQL
• Other frameworks/technologies: Spring Boot, Gradle, Kafka, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes

AS A BACKEND DEVELOPER IN OUR TEAM, YOU WILL

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that power our platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve our platforms, integrate new features, and optimize performance.
• Implement scalable solutions to handle high traffic and large data volumes.
• Ensure great code quality through best practices and regular code reviews.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re a proactive, responsible developer with a knack for teamwork and a passion for sharing knowledge. You take pride in solving problems with precision and you thrive and grow in a team that collectively owns the development process.

Additionally, you have:

• 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Java.
• Proficient in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills.
• Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to innovative solutions.
