Senior Backend Engineer

What You Will Do

• Drive critical 0→1 and 1→10 product initiatives working directly with the founding team
• Own significant engineering scope that delivers immediate customer value while establishing technical foundations
• Help shape both product roadmap and engineering standards in a highly collaborative environment
• Build innovative products using modern technologies such as TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prisma, and LLMs
• Experiment with and integrate various platforms to accelerate value delivery
• Establish engineering best practices that will scale with the company's growth

Ideal Candidate Background

• 4-7 years of backend development experience, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong PostgreSQL scaling expertise OR extensive Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD experience
• Proven track record building and scaling systems in startup environments
• Experience with TypeScript and modern backend architectures
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI/LLM-centric products or features
• Passion for mentoring other engineers
• Prior experience as an early startup employee or in a rapidly growing company
• Track record of consistent career growth and achievement
• Product-focused mindset with ability to understand end-user needs
