Senior DevOps Engineer

You enjoy building, maintaining, and scaling systems, making them secure, efficient, and rock solid. 

Ops is your passion—you tinker, experiment, and maybe even run a homelab for fun. You’re all about improving pipelines, monitoring, and reliability, and you bring that mindset to everything you do.

You’re also not afraid to get your hands dirty because even the worst legacy infra deserves love. That host, the maintenance of which we abandoned back in ‘05, will not migrate itself, right?

In this role, you will get an opportunity to work with seniors on senior problems (except when not), tinker, and make sure things just work—whether it’s self-hosted, in the cloud, or somewhere in between. New things, and old things too.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to and enhance the DevOps team
• Solve complex problems with scalable, strategic solutions
• Support and maintain infrastructure
• Design architecture for internal and external services
• Prioritize automation
• Collaborate to find optimal solutions
• Deliver features on schedule
• Implement infrastructure and application best practices
• Participate in on-call rotations

• 10+ years of Linux experience, including 7+ in a DevOps/SRE role
• Expert in Linux administration and configuration management (Ansible preferred)
• Extensive experience with self-hosted infrastructure (on-premise servers, bare metal)
• Good working knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean)
• Familiarity with enterprise hardware management (iDRAC, IPMI, RAID, firmware updates)
• Proficient in virtualization & containerization (Docker, KVM, VMs)
• Strong scripting & automation skills (Bash, Python)
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines & deployment automation
• Experience maintaining large-scale web projects (nginx, PHP, MySQL)
• Expert-level Git skills & version control best practices
• Strong knowledge of networking & security (firewall management, VPNs, IDS/IPS, TLS, access control)
• Experience securing self-hosted environments (hardening, monitoring, compliance)
• Strategic mindset with a track record of improving infrastructure reliability & efficiency
• Excellent communication, mentoring.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, TDD, and infrastructure best practices
• Experience with task tracking tools (e.g., Jira & Notion)
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate
