The Opportunity:

We are looking for an exceptional Front-End Engineer who can create extraordinary user experiences at the intersection of AI and human interaction. 

You will be responsible for developing an intuitive and responsive user interface, as well as shaping and evolving the architecture of the project, which includes CI/CD pipelines, end-to-end tests, and core modules. 

We stay updated with the latest advancements in front-end, back-end, and AI technologies. Our team utilizes tools like Cursor to enhance our workflow and rethink the nature of programming. 

You should have a clear vision of what distinguishes high-quality, successful projects from others.

Technical Skills We're Looking For

>>> React & Modern Frontend

• Deep expertise in React including hooks, context, modern patterns, and performance

• Deep knowledge of Javascript, CSS, recently released ES, CSS, and HTML features

• Strong TypeScript skills and comprehensive type system understanding

• Proficiency with styled components, Framer Motion, and custom CSS implementations

• Experience with component libraries like Radix UI

• Experience in building custom complex UI components like Dropdowns, Autocompletes/Comboboxes, Datepickers, highly interactive tables, etc.

• Understanding of good practices for state management and API fetching, knowledge of popular libraries like Redux, Zustand, React Query

• Knowledge of good testing practices

>>> AI-UX Integration

• Experience building interfaces for AI/ML products

• Understanding of streaming responses and real-time updates

• Background in handling async operations and loading states gracefully

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science from a top US university

• 5+ years of hands-on frontend development experience

• Previous experience at an AI-first startup is highly preferred

• Strong eye for design and attention to detail

• Available to work 4+ days/week in Mountain View
