Your role:

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend services that power our AI-driven fraud prevention platform. You will:

  • Design and build scalable, cloud-native backend services using.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, storage systems, and APIs to process real-time fraud signals.
  • Architect and implement event-driven microservices to support large-scale data ingestion and analytics.
  • Collaborate with product managers, security researchers and data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend infrastructure.
  • Work with cloud-native technologies (GCP, Kubernetes, serverless frameworks) to deploy and manage services.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend development for large-scale SaaS or data-driven applications.
  • Strong expertise in backend technologies and modern API design.
  • Experience building data-intensive applications, including event-driven architectures, real-time processing, or batch pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, serverless architectures).
  • Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or NoSQL solutions).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a team-oriented approach.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or risk systems.
  • Hands-on experience with stream processing frameworks (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Flink).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
