Shiji Group is a product-based company originating from China, specializing in providing advanced IT systems for the hospitality, food service, and retail industries. The company offers a wide range of technology solutions that help businesses in these sectors optimize operations and enhance customer service. 

In Poland, Shiji Group focuses on the development of the Shiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.  

We are currently building a new team that will be extending that platform with new features connected with POS and food ordering systems. We are looking for candidates to join that team and help us enhance the user experience and streamline operations for our clients. 

How We Work - Remote/Hybrid Work: 

• Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice): 4 times a month 
• Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office: 2 times a month 
• Employees over 100 km: fully remote work 

Job Description

Our stack:  

• .NET 8, Entity Framework, Dapper, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Kafka 
• XUnit, NSubstitute, 
• Kibana, Grafana 
• GitLab 
• Jira, Confluence 

Your responsibilities: 

• deliver high-quality code, which is both functional and performant 
• design and develop software features based on the requirements 
• work together with UI/UX designers, Product Owners, Developers, and other team members 
• contribute to the infrastructure that the team leverages for development 
• participate in code reviews 
• participate in services release 
• participate in services monitoring of metrics and logs 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of professional experience as a C# .NET developer  
• Knowledge and practice in using C# programming language and .NET in general 
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns 
• Knowledge of SQL and RDS 
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems 
• Basic knowledge of software architecture and design 
• Basic knowledge of docker and containers 
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD 
• Interest in further career development in programming/IT 
• Motivation to learn,code and explore company business domain 
• Interest in tech news and new libraries/packages/tools 
• Communicative and open person 
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
