Engineering Manager, Data Platform and Analytics

At a technical level your development team will offer application, data and infrastructure support for customer environments and other engineering teams. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across software products with leaders and engineers all over the company and globe to influence product roadmaps, plan and deploy product releases.

• As an Engineering Manager, you will help scale our Coupa data and AI platforms as we expand and find the right balance between powering engineering teams, and enabling them.  You will collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features and find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems.  You will solve unique problems that may involve other teams, apply project management skills to your team, and develop new concepts or techniques that affect others.

• 5+ years leading/managing a team
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data-intensive software development
• Strong data architectural & analysis skills
• Experience building ETL & data platforms that scale
• Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake
• MySQL and general database knowledge, including performance and optimization

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:

•Based in California: $186,150 - $219,000

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
