Front End Developer (Contractor- 6 months)

The Digital Experience Department at Bitdefender is seeking for a Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will primarily focus on front-end development tasks, playing a very role in evolving Bitdefender website and delivering an exceptional user experience. The successful applicant will need a solid grasp of web technologies and a fervent drive to craft efficient, scalable solutions, with a stronger emphasis on the front-end aspects of development.

Develop, and maintain the website future requirements;
Analyses the technical flows, the implementation process and makes sure other functionalities are not affected by the new developments;
Collaborates with the QA team in the investigation process of reported issues;
Work closely with UX/UI designers to develop and integrate user-friendly functionalities and experiences, aiming to improve overall customer satisfaction;
Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to the website integrations;
Document development processes, code, and architecture decisions for future reference and compliance.

-A minimum of 5 years of experience web development;
-Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SEO on-site;
-Experience with back-end development, preferably using languages like Node.js or PHP;
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
-Experience with source control systems such as Git;
-AI: Integration with Commet Chat;
-Design: Implementation of a design-for Bitdefender website;
-Redesign & Migration: Migrate websites from decommissioned platforms such as Ghost to current trends like NodeJS;
-Develop: Micro-sites
