Essential Functions
Perform execution and financial grant management duties in support of center-aligned grants collaborating with the Office of Research utilizing pre and post award services provided by them. Manage all financial aspects of CEROC’s foundational scholarship programs including the CyberCorps SFS and Department of Defense CySP grants. Collaborate with peers in other centers throughout the university to ensure that grant management processes align and implement improvements where needed. Manage all contractual and procurement workflows related to grant-funded, CEROC (education, research and outreach) events. Provide logistical support for center activities serving as backup to the CEROC Cyber Outreach Coordinator. Provide administrative support to the Center Director for center designation workflows with the National Security Agency including N- CAE CD and N- CAE R designations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field OR an Associate Degree/Two years of college and two (2) years of related experience OR a high school diploma with at least four (4) years’ related experience PLUS one year of bookkeeping and general office management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel). Ability to use web-based systems for financial transactions and forms processing. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to handle deadline-oriented tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with federal grant application, management, and reporting processes, prior project management experience, and four or more years’ experience with bookkeeping and general office management.
