About the Role:
Reporting to the director of corporate sales, the Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for managing an existing sales team based in our Japan Office. The Corporate Team will be focused on growth within the Corporate / Commercial segments and compliment the success that our existing Enterprise and Mid-Market Teams have been having in Japan. The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training and leading a team of Corporate Account Executives.
Additionally, the Corporate Sales Manager needs to build go-to-market plans for the growth of our subscription-based Falcon Platform solution, establish sales best practices, overachieve quota while ensuring forecasting and attainment are accurate. We are seeking a candidate that possess sound leadership, strong communication skills and is passionate about the team’s growth and development. It’s crucial that this Corporate Sales Manager believes in leveraging sales tools to be successful, have proven sales skills (soft selling), highly motivated and sound motivational techniques.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure the Corporate Sales team is the top performing team in the industry, outselling the competition by leveraging our successful value selling model

  • Proven track record building teams and growing revenues

  • Experience managing direct reports with quota carrying roles

  • Build plans to maximise the growth opportunity for CrowdStrike in Japan

  • Working with internal teams to grow the team’s pipeline and increase close rates

  • Hands on, and enjoys being in front of customers and partners

  • Proficiency navigating within CRM tools (Salesforce)

  • Always thinking outside of the box, constantly motivating team and identifying new ways to grow and develop the Corporae / Commercial business

  • Knowledge of the Japan market—channel landscape, buying habits, and accounts

  • The Corporate Sales Manager should take on a proactive role, always be on the lookout for ways to improve team productivity, and build a team of ‘hunters’ to strive for net new logos and training sales methodologies

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven track record and leadership experience as front line sales management

  • Sales Management experience generating net new business for software company

  • Proven track record in exceeding targets

  • Experience working in a hyper growth environment with aggressive YOY growth

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly interactive environment

  • Evidence of sharing knowledge with peers and working as a member of an effective team

  • Channel Sales knowledge

  • Native or near-native Japanese communication skills and conversational, or higher, English communication skills (reading and writing)

Bonus Points:

  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus

  • Experience in MEDDPIC
